The Minor PeeWee A/AA Brantford 99ers captured the Championship this past weekend at the 50th Anniversary Wayne Gretzky International Tournament. The team went undefeated all weekend with wins over Erie North Shore Storm, Burlington Eagles, St. Clair Shores Michigan and Flamborough-Dundas. The 99ers defeated St. Clair Shores again in the semi-finals. The 99ers pulled out a 2-0 victory in the finals against a very good Centre Wellington Fusion team. Very impressive job this weekend. I heard many compliments over the weekend about how well we moved the puck! Great job I'm very proud of you guys! Thank-you for your efforts and dedication to the team.

The Minor PeeWee A 99ers have done it again bringing home the Championship at this weekends CCM World Invite 07-08 in Port Huron Michigan.
The 99ers went undefeated going 6-0 with round robin wins over the Applewood Coyotes 3-1, Belle Tire Michigan 5-3, Texas Tigers 2-0 and the Steel City Ice Renegades 7-1. In the semi finals the 99ers defeated a very strong Saginaw Jr Spirit Team 3-1. In the finals the 99ers took on the highly ranked and previously undefeated Lakeland Hawks team handing them their first loss of the season to bring home the Champioship. Great Job this weekend team! Thank-you for your efforts and teamwork, keep up the great work!

The Minor PeeWee Brantford 99ers have earned a birth in the International Silver Stick Tournament January 9th to 12th in New Market Ont. by winning the championship at this past weekends Regional Silver Stick qualifier. In round robin play the 99ers went 2-1 with a 4-3 win over the Erie North Shore Storm and a 7-2 win over the Niagara Falls Flyers as well as a 4-1 loss to the London Jr. Mustangs. Moving on to the playoff round the 99ers defeated the Cambridge Hawks 5-0 in the semifinals. The championship game was a rematch with the London Jr Mustangs that ended with a 3-2 overtime win for the 99ers. Great Job Team? Thank-you for all your hard work this weekend, really proud of all of you.
