Regional Silver Stick Champs
The Minor PeeWee Brantford 99ers have earned a birth in the International Silver Stick Tournament January 9th to 12th in New Market Ont. by winning the championship at this past weekends Regional Silver Stick qualifier. In round robin play the 99ers went 2-1 with a 4-3 win over the Erie North Shore Storm and a 7-2 win over the Niagara Falls Flyers as well as a 4-1 loss to the London Jr. Mustangs. Moving on to the playoff round the 99ers defeated the Cambridge Hawks 5-0 in the semifinals. The championship game was a rematch with the London Jr Mustangs that ended with a 3-2 overtime win for the 99ers. Great Job Team?
