Major Bantam, 2016-2017, A/AA (Brantford Minor Hockey Association)

The Brantford 99ers Major Bantams came home from Port Huron Michigan as International Silver Stick Champions.  The team played amazing all weekend going undefeated in 6 games and recording 26 GF and only 5 GA.  Team defense was smothering and the goaltending tandem of Christian Laracy & Matthew Karakas was outstanding.

The major Bantam 99ers came home Champions from the Midland Ontario qualifier and have punched their ticket to the International Finals in Port Huron MI.  The boys went undefeated (5-0) and allowed only 3GA all weekend!  All 17 players had fantastic moments over the weekend and it was truly a team win.  Thanks to our coaches and parents who provided great support!

The team continues to battle other centers that have true AA roster distinction as we head towards the Alliance split for A/AA.  As an A rostered centre, Bantam A BMHA are proud of this teams accomplishments and competitive nature thus far.  We look forward to our Silver Stick tournament on November 25-27 and the Gretzky International as hosts, both as A events.
