The end result was not what we all hoped for but what a great weekend of hockey for the boys. The boys were matched up against some very good AA teams from Ontario and showed they can play with the best of them. Reaching the Semi Finals was an excellent achievement and we couldn't be prouder with their efforts. 5 games of 20 minute periods in 3 days is a lot to ask but they stepped up and battled to the end.
Players like Mason, DaSilva and Sinning set the tone and had a great tournament. Solid goaltending from Laracy and Bacht. Without their efforts it could of been 3 and out! Going back to league play the team will carry the confidence gained this weekend, learn from their defeat to the "Mighty Green" and get back to playing 99er hockey!
