Game 15 Ancaster Avalanche at Brantford 99ers
Submitted By Jennifer Esselment on Thu 03 03, 16
Well this one didn't go in our favour and i unfortunately only managed to catch the last period but great work boys.

First period was scoreless for us but I was told there was some great plays, nice passes and boys played hard together.  Ancaster managed to sneak one in and were in the lead at the end of the first period.

Second period and our boys continued to work hard, dig along the boards and skate hard to cover the man. Although  we had some great attempts we just couldn't manage to get once past their goalie.  Ancaster scored once more in the second period and had a two nothing lead heading into the third period.

Third period was more scoring opportunities, positional play and I have to mention the little shoving match one of our guys ended (although he didn't start) with a big shove and some hurt feelings by the other guy when he lost his footing.

Overall all a great game boys, you played hard and should be proud of the progress you have all made this year.

Hard hat award going to Cole D for a great job staying focused and making some great saves in the net!!  Way to go buddy!!
