Knights end 99ers Streak at 10
Missing the two big guys on defense hurt the 99ers as they were unable to hold a 2-1 lead as the Knights stormed back with 4 unanswered goals on route to a 5-2 win ending the Mortgage Financial 99ers home unbeaten streak at 10.

While 99ers lost big Jack Lamain on the first shift of the game, and London opened the scoring just 4 mins into the contest, the 99ers held strong keeping the game 1-0 through a tight first period.  The local boys then struck quickly in the second when Zak Culbert scored on the PP with Matt Adkins and Andrew Brown drawing assists at 12:25, and then less than a minute later, Nathan Foster gave the visitors the lead getting help on the goal from AP players Owen Dremak and James Nichol.

Kyle Jackman, Will Smith, Connor Vorwald, Nathan Foster, and AP Zack Haight all played well and logged big minutes in the game, however, on this night without the twin towers on D, the Mortgage Financial 99ers were unable to either extend this lead or even hold it as the Knights then scored 3 before the end of the second and then the only goal of the third to skate away with a 5-2 win ending a very impressive home undefeated streak at 10.
