The
Brant Sports Excellence minor atom AAA 99ers recently played in the
Quinte Red Devils tournament, narrowly missing out on a spot in the
final.
After
an opening win against the Oshawa Generals, Brant Sports Excellence
lost to the Quinte Red Devils and Kingston Canadians to finish fourth in
pool play.
The
team then faced first place and undefeated Kingston in the semifinals,
coming up just a goal short from making it to the championship.
Brant
Sports Excellence has now resumed its regular season and is preparing
for its next tournament – the prestigious Shanahan International, hosted
by the Mississauga Reps AAA Hockey Club from Nov. 7-9.
