Hello Families,
I would like to officially welcome everyone to the start of the 2024/2025 hockey season!!! My name is Scott MacDougall and I have the privilege to be the Head Coach of the Brantford 99ers U12 AAA this upcoming season. I've listed some important information below about the tryouts this coming weekend.
1) All players will be given the opportunity to skate 3 times over the weekend with releases beginning on Sunday after the 3rd tryout
2) There are 2 tryouts on Saturday and 1 on Sunday. Players will be expected to be on the ice in each one.
3) Given the large number of players already registered, we will be splitting them into 2 groups to better manage the evaluations. (Goalies may be required to skate for both depending on the number registered)
4) Both groups will have a 1-hour skate in each of the 3 tryout blocks.
5) All updates regarding which ice time you should attend and subsequent roster moves will come through the website and via email.
6) All out of town skaters must bring their Permission to Skate and/or F1 Release paperwork from their home center to the registration table prior to going on the ice for the 1st time.
7) There will be additional non-parent, non-affiliated evaluators watching and grading the players to aid in selections.
