Major Bantam, 2012-2013, A/AA (Brantford Minor Hockey Association)

After a first game loss and a little inconsistency the Brantford Bantam AA 99ers settled down and won the final two games 6-1 and 5-1 over the London Jr. Knights to win the Alliance Bantam AA Championship in 6 games. With the series win the team now goes to Sault St. Marie on April 12 for the OHF Championship to represent the Alliance in the Ontario Championships. After a record of 61-7-3 this season which included 4 Tournament wins it would be nice to cap the season off with a win at the OHF's.

After beating the home team in Stoney Creek and Toronto Wolverines tournaments the Bantam AA 99ers won their third tournament at home in the Wayne Gretzky tournament vs Finland Tappara then we won our fourth straight tournament by winning the Glenn Bellerby tournament in Barrie against the Barrie Colts on Jan. 6th. The team went a perfect 5- 0 during the tournament.

Congratulations to the boys for winning our second tournament in as many weeks! We went 4-1 for the weekend and after falling behind 2-0 in the final we rallied back for a 6-4 win against the host team.

After losing the opening game by one goal the team bounced back by winning five straight including winning in overtime in the semi's and the final against the host team Stoney Creek. Great job by all!
