Despite a good third period effort, the Contractors Rental Supply Midgets dropped a tough one on the road in Woodstock.  Blaise Burtnick who moved up to forward to support a short bench scored the lone goal for the visitors as the team dropped a 2-1 decision to Woodstock. Insert Burtnick

Despite a good team effort, and some strong performances by others, it was clear that Ben Beechey was the best 99er on the ice last night as the Contractors Rental Supply Midgets earned a point in their match with the London Bandits. Insert Beechey

After playing two very tight games with the first place Knights, earlier in the season, the Contractors Rental Supply Midgets tanked one on their first trip to London.  After scoring the first goal, a short handed marker by Tyler Schaeffer, the 99ers watched as the Knights proceeded to score the next 7 in a row in handing the team their worst defeat of the season. Despite facing the challenge of moving up the standings passing the team you are playing, and couple this with the fact the team was playing without 5 regulars, the Contractors Rental Supply 99ers topped Stratford 3-1 on a rare Saturday afternoon tilt.  Putting on a clinic of playing a team game, the only blemish being a return to trash talking and undisciplined penalties which provided the visitors with free offence as a result of 40 minutes of penalties to 10 the team moved past Stratford with the win. In a possible playoff preview, the Construction Rental Supply 99ers played their second game only 3 days apart, this time with the visiting Nationals coming out on top by a score of 3-2.  Following his shut-out of the Nationals in London on Monday, Connor Curtin again had the start and played well at the 99ers put forth another strong team effort in their attempt to upset the higher ranked Nationals twice in a three day period.
