Jr. Raiders Early Bird Tournament
So proud of the boys this past weekend although fell just a bit short.
We participated in the Burlington Early Bird Tournament this weekend and overall my take away is we as a team came together in both celebration with all our convincing wins (and there were a few of them for sure) as well as disappointment in the final championship game.
The boys really impressed the coaching staff with the following record over 6 games:
Game #1 - Win 5-1 VS Milton Winterhawks
Game #2 - Win 6-1 VS Stoney Creek Warriors
Game #3 - Win 5-2 VS Haldimand River Kings
Game #4 - Win 8-2 VS Haldimand River Kings - Quarter Finals
Game #5 - Win 8-2 VS Stoney Creek Warriors - Semi Finals
Game #6 - Loss 4-1 VS Centre Wellington Fusion - Finals
As upset as the boys were after the game we all know we will learn from this and they should be totally proud of their results this weekend as we coaches were.
Adversity will make us stronger just keep believing in the process and continue the hard work and bonding boys!
Also please thank your parents each and every day for being involved and giving you all the support they do!
