BMHA Looking for Coaches and Volunteers to Assist with Toronto Maple Leafs First Shift
Submitted By Rob Symons on Saturday, January 11, 2020
BMHA is in search of coaches and student volunteers to assist with on-ice sessions for our Toronto Maple Leafs First Shift Program.

Our Fall program (Second Shift) takes place Saturday afternoons at 1:30 pm on Rink 4 at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre. Our Winter program will begin on January 25 and will run Saturdays at 2:30 pm. 35-46 children will be on the rink each hour so we count on a large group of coaches and volunteers to assist in operating our skills stations.

First Shift is designed to help children, new to hockey, fall in love with hockey in this learn to play program focusing on having fun while learning basic skills.

If you are an adult interested in helping on ice as a coach or volunteer, a valid police check is required. We are also looking for student volunteers to assist, from Peewee age and up. High School volunteer hours are available.

If you are interested in helping our First Shift team, please contact Rob Symons via email at [email protected]
