Kitchen, Klunder, and Restelli Lead the Way.
If nothing else the visit to Woodstock was exciting and would have had every fan in the place happy for at least moments as a wild third period lead to 6 goals and a 4-4 tie.

The trend of falling behind and then having to come back in an attempt to earn points on the road continued as the 99ers attempted to take steps to move up the standings and gain some ground on the Navy Vets.  Sound positional play helped limit the speed of the Woodstock team and kept chances fairly even through the scoreless first period before the Home team took the lead with just over 5 mins left in the middle frame.  The 99ers bounced back 87 seconds later as the Captain evened things up with assists going to Jack Lamain and Dustin Moore.  Stepping back on the ice to start the third, it is doubtful if anyone thought things would change from a tight 1-1 game as the teams exploded for 6 in the final 20 minutes.  Woodstock scored two quick goals at 17:54 and made it 3-1 33 seconds later. Normally this would be enough to cruise home with a win, but the 99er have made it a season of comebacks and Andrew Kitchen closed the gap at 15:51 moving in on the right side and fired a quick snapshot over the shortside shoulder as Carlo Restelli picked up the only assist. Max Klunder scored his second of the game to knot things up at 3's at 12;15 with Moore and Restelli both picking up their second assists.  This tie was short lived as the home team answered back less than 2 minutes later taking a 4-3 lead as the fireworks continued.  Kitchen then cut across the slot before this time firing another quick one over the shoulder of the Woodstock goalie, this time from the left side pulling the 99ers even again. Matt Adkins earned his first point in just his second game since joining the team and Restelli with his 3 assist of the night completed the scoring play.  All in all the two teams combined for 6 goals in 11 mins and while neither Coach was happy with the tie, both agreed it was an interesting period.  Jake Gooder battled through the game and earned the tie.
