Late Tip Extends Unbeaten Streak to 9
A third period sag nearly ended the streak at 8, but a tip by Andrew Kitchen with 7 seconds to go salvaged a 2-2 tie with the London White Mustangs.

Early leads have not been a strong suit for the 99ers, however, following a scoreless 1st, "Captain Klutch" Max Klunder opened the scoring just over a minute into the second with assists from Will Smith and Zak Culbert. Both teams played a fast clean game as there was only 1 penalty in the first and none in the second as the fans were treated to some great hockey.  A spirited tilt between Carlo Restelli, and  London's TJ Taylor sparked the third as both teams saluted the combatants as they were escorted to the box, and then to the dressing rooms.  The Mustangs then took the lead with 2 goals just over two minutes apart the first on the PP, and the second at even and full strength 5 on 5.  Down a goal and looking to extend the streak, the 99ers pulled the goalie and with the advantage of the extra attacker, the home team was able to tie things up when a nice D to D pass from Kyle Jackman to Nathan Foster allowed traffic to get to the net and Kitchen was able to redirect a shot that was clearly going wide and the in a flash, the game was knotted at 2 with just 7 seconds to go in the game.
