Opening Ceremonies will take place at 2:00 pm on December 28th on Rink 1 at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre prior to Brantford vs. Syracuse (Minor Bantam A)
National Anthems will be performed by Em and Shae.
Em and Shae consists of Em Jordan and Shaelee Sheppard. Em 14 yrs old and Shae 15 yrs old both girls have played for crowds of 10 to a couple of thousand.
Recently the girls wrote a song together and released it through Facebook and YouTube on World Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus day called "Don't Give Up on Me".
Em has played in Nashville, Los Vegas, and Kansas City. Em is a singer/songwriter and plays guitar and is an ambassador for Holland Bloorview Rehab Centre for Children.
Shaelee is also a singer/songwriter and plays fiddle, guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele and bass guitar. Shaelee has been seen at the local markets, The Rose & Thistle, and the Otterville Optimist and Volunteer Firefighter wing night and has won Bayfest has Talent in September 2018.
Both Em & Shae have performed together at different venues including Taps in Niagara Falls, Tillsonburg Fair, St. George Applefest and Wincey Mills Market. Be sure to check out their Facebook pages for updates on performances and to see what they are doing next.
