Coach Introduction
Players and Parents,
Welcome to the U11 MD team site.
My name is Jeff Atlee, myself along with Chris Mancuso and Logan Webb will make up this years coach group for the U11 MD team.
The A/AA evaluations are underway and we are anxiously awaiting our turn and to get this season rolling.
My view of the minor development program is that we exist to support the A/AA and AAA programs. Our role is to prepare our players to compete for future spots on higher level teams. By taking this approach we not only ensure the development of our players meets the standards required of those teams but we also strengthen and increase the depth within Brantford Minor Hockey as a whole.
My guiding principle for this season is based on SIMPLICITY- REPETITION and PERFORMANCE. As we progress through the season we will strive to not only develop the individual player skills but to also increase their on ice hockey IQ and develop a team first mentality.
Our U11 MD team will be participating in the following tournaments:
Oktoberfest- Oct 22-24
Bradford Blue and Gold- Nov 19-21
Brantford Wayne Gretzky Classic- Dec 27-30
Canada Cup Montreal- Feb 18-20
Things to Know:
-Pre-registration is required by BMHA in order to secure your players spot at tryouts and can be done through the BMHA website.
-As of September 22 all spectators of ANY Alliance Hockey sanctioned activities should be prepared to provide proof of vaccination. More information can be found on the BMHA website.
