Proof of Vaccination Update – Spectators and Participants
On September 14, the Province of Ontario announced amendments to the Reopening Ontario Act that directly impacts all members of BMHA. Effective September 22, all spectators of any ALLIANCE Hockey sanctioned activity - aged 12 years and over including the parents, guardians, and siblings of players - should be prepared to provide proof of vaccination to arena staff to obtain entry to the facility. To be clear, the September 22 rollout of the Vaccine Passport has been updated to include the areas of an indoor facility where spectators watch sports. This includes all hockey arenas in Ontario.

Along with this announcement, ALLIANCE Hockey has confirmed that there will be no changes to its mandatory vaccination policy for participants born in 2009 or earlier. The ALLIANCE policy can be found here along with the exemption request forms.
This is also a reminder that participants must receive their first vaccine dose by September 17 in order to achieve full vaccination by the October 31 deadline. Participants must upload their vaccine certificates to the BMHA website by October 17. Those that fail to do so without a valid exemption will not be permitted to participate in ALLIANCE Hockey sanctioned activities until they can provide proof of full vaccination.

Proof of vaccination receipts can be uploaded to the BMHA website where it will be stored securely. To upload your vaccination receipts, visit https://secure.brantfordminorhockey.com/Forms/5450/
