Game 13 99'ers travel to Hamilton Blues
I missed this game as my 99'er was away in Cuba but I heard it was an intense game and Hamilton had obviously not been happy about losing to us in the Chedoke Tournament early in the season.
Hamilton came out of the gate ready to rock and started the scoring off within a minute of play. Our boys weren't about to go down without a fight. A couple big shots let Hamilton know we were there to play.
Hamilton managed to get another one but Nathan B kept their lead to one with a goal with less then two minutes left in the first period. This goal was assisted Didier L.
Second period lead to two more goals for Hamilton but some great passes, incredible team work and some serious determination by our boys to make a come back. Seconds left in the second period William R managed to put one deep in the net with an unassisted goal.
Third period was more great positional play, backchecking and cycling to make the most of our efforts in the attack zone. Hamilton managed to score one more to bring their lead to 3 but we made the most of the man advantage for us and Nathan M assisted by Marcus S and William R scored our third goal. Final score 5 Hamilton and 3 Brantford.
