Over Time loss at the International Silver Stick Finals

The Wacky Wings Minor Bantam 99ers suffered a tough loss in the Finals at the International Silver Stick 2-1 in sudden victory overtime in Newmarket.  Both the 99ers and Grimsby Peach Kings play AA in regular season for their associations as A centers and it was an exciting hockey game.  Our boys played very well all weekend and special mention to both goaltenders who played amazing sharing, the six game workload equally.  The 99ers won games against Michigan Metro Jets, Kanata Blazers, Burlington Eagles Gold, & Owen Sound Jr. Attack to meet the Grimsby Peach Kings in the finals.


The 99ers end up with 3 championships and 2 finalist placements in 5 tournaments this year.  Coaches and parents are very proud of these boys and we will now regroup to complete the regular season and prepare for the playoffs.
