Brantford Minor Hockey Association’s 4th Annual Hockey Fights Cancer Day on November 16
On November 16, 2024, the Brantford Minor Hockey Association will proudly host its fourth annual Hockey Fights Cancer (HFC) Day at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre. Since our inception three years ago, we have raised over $82,000, thanks to the generous support of community members like you.
This year’s event will feature 22 Brantford Rep Teams, 22 Rep teams from across Southern Ontario and 35 Brantford House League Team - our largest participation yet! Funds raised will benefit our local Stedman Community Hospice and the Canadian Cancer Society Wheels of Hope Program. This is a volunteer driving program that assists patients with transportation to and from cancer-related appointments. This vital service is available in every community across Southern Ontario.
HFC Day isn’t just about hockey—it’s about bringing our community together to support those impacted by cancer. The event also serves as an important opportunity to teach our young athletes the significance of giving back and understanding the world beyond the rink.
