BMHA House League Begins September 15
Submitted By Rob Symons on Wednesday, September 5, 2018
BMHA’s 2018-19 House League Season begins with our Annual Kick-Off Weekend on September 15-16 at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre. We open our season with House League evaluations and skates for Timbits, Tyke, Novice, Atom, Peewee, and Bantam this weekend. We invite our BMHA families to visit with our volunteers on Saturday and join us for a coffee, cake, and a Kick-Off Weekend gift for our young 99ers players.

Click "Read More" to see links to division schedules for opening weekend.

NOTE: Players must be registered and fee paid (or payment arrangements made) before stepping on the ice.

Our Timbits, Tyke, and Novice seasons begin with on-ice practices and evaluations September 15, 16, 22, and 23 before teams are organized. This gives our coaches and volunteers time to get our new players comfortable on the ice and also allows us to make sure players are in the appropriate division. Ice times are posted in division calendars now. Check back with this page in coming days for specific ice times based on last name. Please bring a hockey sweater and socks as team sweater and socks will not be distributed until teams are selected after September 23.

Teams will be assembled by the HL Committee using Hockey Canada evaluation results and player history. This is done to give us the best chance to create balanced teams from the start. No teams are final at this point as players may be moved in the following weeks to assist with balancing if required.
