Tryout Update #6
Nice to see a solid effort from the players tonight as they are battling hard for a spot on the team. Good to see them in game mode and it allows us to view things you do not get to see during drills and scrimmages.
Thought the players played hard to the end and never gave up in a tight 3-2 loss. Burlington has had their team picked since May so going up against a team playing with their full roster and keeping things tight is a good sign. Thought we had a good first period, kept puck deep in Burlington zone. They took it to us in the 2nd and we were on our heels for much of the period. We were able to rebound with a solid 3rd and just came up short in tying the game. I look forward to our 2nd tryout game tomorrow.
