Regular Season to Playoff Glory?
As the Regular Season is winding down our focus will shift to the playoffs. We have shown at various times this season we can compete with anyone and have the skills to get it done. With some nagging injuries, work commitments and suspensions we struggled on a regular basis to field a full line up..... but in saying that, the boys did their best with the limited line up. We set small goals and preached giving it for 3 periods at the same time making sure it was still fun for them.
Going into the stretch drive and into the playoffs I am reintroducing my goals:
1. Compete for 3 periods, start with each shift you take!
2. Remain positive! Its a long game. Never say Die!
3. Stay disciplined, no retaliation penalties or suspensions! It hurts not only you but the team overall!
4. Play with Pride, Play with Class, Play with Respect!
Let's see what happens!
