Pete Crosby to Lead Minor Midget Program
The vacant position of Head Coach with the 2016-17 Minor Midget 99ers has been fulfilled by former GOJHL Head Coach and Cherry Cup champion Pete Crosby.

After the completion of the 2015-16 season and the decision of former Head Coach Nathan Herrington to take a step back, the Minor Midget program was in limbo as to who would now step in to take the lead with the 99ers.

When considering a Head Coach at this level, BMHA wanted to set its sights high in reaching out to the right individual with the right experience to take on this important role with the organization. The opportunity to bring Crosby to Brantford was presented and the organization is excited to have Pete accept the position.

Crosby is a certified High Performance 2 coach who recently took a step back from the Jr.'B' Guelph Hurricanes in 2015. He is currently in his 11th year as the Head Operator and Instructor of the Hockey Canada Skills Academy at PDHS and also coaches both the girls and boys programs at the High School. From 2013 to 2014 Crosby lead the Cambridge Winterhawks to two successful seasons including a Cherry Cup Championship in his final year.

Pete will partner with former Head Coach Nathan Herrington during 2016-17. Herrington will fulfill a role as Program Coordinator and Manager this coming season and is excited to still be involved with the Minor Midget AAA group.
