Strong Leadership in Place for Minor Midgets
The Minor Midget AAA coaching staff have named a captain and three assistants to represent the 99ers Minor Midget program this season.
#19 Griffen Fox has been given the privilege of wearing the 'C' for the 99ers this season. Griffen is an experienced player with the group and is well respected by his peers. His work ethic, intensity and character as a player represents what the 99ers team wishes their reputation to be this season at the Minor Midget level. Assistant captains #44 Colt Corpse, #4 Holden Wale and #5 Marko Jakovljevic compliment Fox well as a captain. These three players have proven to be great teammates and visible leaders that will contribute to the image of the 99ers team as a whole.
With their leadership in place and preseason preparations complete, Brantford will welcome the Windsor Jr. Spitfires on Saturday night, 7:15pm at the Gretzky Center.
